About Luna

6 months old German shepherd/border collie mix. Miss Luna is quite the good girl. She does have energy and needs an active family with a yard so she can play fetch and run; her foster momma has an apartment and though she gets to walk she needs more space. She is scared of loud, sudden sounds (like shaking a garage bag open). She loves every one. She is still puppy, though, so she does jump up and moves quickly. Luna knows a good variety of basic commands: Come here, sit, lie down, working on roll over, paw, down/off, working on- go to bed/bed. Luna is learning not to jump when greeting and being crated trained. She does okay in the crate with appropriate things to chew on. She is 36-38 inches long nose to rump not including tail and about 18inches floor to top of shoulders. Luna met an off leash dog on a walk and was ok but she was a little scared/apprehensive at first but wants to play once she feels safe. She has done great with small dogs and children. She does want to be on furniture like couch or chair but we try to direct to her bed instead. Overall, she is a great girl and foster momma really hopes she gets a fantastic home. We believe she's a border collie/shepherd mix. Also Boise Fly Ball has said that whoever adopts Luna, they will train her. Fee waived
