About Emma

Emma is a gorgeous 5 years old purebred Rottweiler, spayed female, perfect health 80 lbs. She is good with people and other dogs but she does need some time to get comfortable with strangers. she has not been tested with babies yet. Emma is a very smart, energetic and sweet girl. She is very friendly and she loves to stay around people she is familiar with. She will greet people with excitement but always respond with affection. She loves to be pet, hugged and she loves to receive a great amount of attention but she can also be independent when needed. Whenever you look at her, she is watching you with full of love but when you are busy, she could keep quiet and enjoy her life with just a ball. Yes, balls are her favorite toy. Just give her a ball and she can spend the day playing with it. Due to lack of training when she was young, she has a few habits that need to be corrected. She has a nature to pull when walking but once trained for a few times, she sometimes digs holes in the yard, and when very excited, she jumps on people to greet. However, she is a very smart girl and with a few training sessions, she learns very quickly. Emma was planned to be given to a shelter by the original owner in 2019 because he was moving to another country. Emma was taken in by a kind friend Angel to foster and look for a new home for her. Emma has been in foster for 2 years. She has been behaving really well with their 2 other corgis. Foster family is now having a baby coming soon plus 2 dogs so they desperately need to find Emma a permanent home. Their hope is to find Emma better home with better attention and time that this sweet girl deserves. They will continue fostering Emma until she has a home.
