About Reese

Reese's is a pretty 2 year old 60 lbs Shepherd/Husky mix. We took Reese into rescue almost a year ago from an old couple who were going to dump her at a shelter. Reese took the betrayal hard and who could blame her - after being given away by the only people she ever knew and living in a home.�%A0 �%A0She found herself living in a kennel and was understandably sad, scared and confused. She was really upset and wouldn't let the woman who runs the kennel anywhere near her ! Unbeknownst to us she was also PREGNANT and a week later she gave birth to her puppies in the kennel. So it turns out not only was she upset at being given up, she was also protecting her babies!!�%A0 Her pups all came up almost a year ago now and went to the best homes. Reese has come a long way this past year and has warmed up to the owner and the other girl who feeds her at the kennel. We have not given up on her and have been boarding her for a YEAR waiting for her to get comfortable with people.�%A0 She is now ready to move on. We obviously advise against toddlers and cats and she could turn out to be dog friendly but we just can't say for certain one way or the other about that. The adoption fee is $500.�%A0 We require a fully fenced yard and not an invisible fence.
