About Jett

My name is Jett, I am a year and half neutered German Sheppard. I have 3 little sister dogs that I am good with, but I have issues with bigger dogs and takes me a lot of time to get used to them at times. I go for nightly runs with my dad in his pickup, I still must run on a lease because I will take off if I see a bird or other birds. I love playing outside with my sister's, I love it when they chase me around the yard. Playing fetch is one of my most favorite things to do, but I don't like to give up the ball very easily. Mom or dad must usually take it out of my month, but I do not bite when they do this, it is more of a game to me. Mom and dad are still working with me when it comes to my manners. I jump on people when they come over to visit, it takes me awhile to get used to new people that come into my house. I love kids but my weight at times gets the best of me when I am so happy. I don't like to be put in crates for very long periods of times, my first owners before my parents now would keep me in my crate a lot and now, I have anxiety when it comes to them. I will chew through them or try to squeeze myself out of them will all my power. I am potty trained and can go long periods of time without having an accident. If you leave me alone, I will chew up shoes, my mom and dad are really working hard with me not to do that, but I am not always good. I love to jump on counters or get into the garbage if I smell something good. Jett is a good dog, but we need to find a better home for her. A home with no other dogs so she can get all the love an attention would be the best for her. But she is better with smaller dogs than bigger, she still has issues with being aggressive at times. She can be redirected very easily but she does need work. Our family is very busy with all types of activities, so we are trying to find a better home for her. She loves to cuddle, go for walks, stay outside to look for squirrels, and birds.
