About Sandy

Sandy is an extremely sweet and loyal dog. She has been with us since we rescued her as a puppy in 2018. She is very high energy and requires daily exercise. She is not a yard dog, if she is bored she will attempt to dig under a fence or get free, she must be exercised. She does have a somewhat strong prey drive. We don't have the time or energy to keep up with her anymore. She would be the ideal dog for a couple that loves to hike, jog, or do any kind of outdoor exercise/activity. They call Vizsla velcro dogs for a reason, if you want a dog to snuggle up next to on the couch and watch TV at night, but run around outdoors and never get tired during the day? Sandy would be the ideal dog. She doesn't have a mean bone in her body, she has never bitten a dog or person. She is good with Chickens, Cats, Kids, Adults. Very affectionate, very kind. She does not like to swim, I think she could be taught, she will pretty much do anything when excited so there is always the possibility. It breaks our heart to part with her, but at the same time we know there is better for her out there. She is loved by this family and has a great home, but it isn't ideal for her. She needs to be able to stretch her legs.
