About Violet June

Location: Bourbonnais, Illinois (DOB: 08/31/2021) Violet June is our 25th or so foster dog, and we are all ranking her as our favorite! She came to us as a very scared pup who had never seen outside of her previous surroundings. She didn't know how to use stairs, get in a car, play with a toy or cuddle in a bed! Here she is now, a playful loving smart girl! Violet LOVES to be loved, loves to play fetch and loves her squeaky toys! She knows how to sit for a treat, is doing well walking on a leash and sleeps all night quietly in her crate. She enjoys playing with our other dogs (running and romping). She lives with a cat here, and she is very friendly with her! Violet has met MANY kids and strangers and is more than welcoming to a new face! We still talk to her sweet and slow to help her build confidence and let her know the world is a safe and fun place!
