LOCATION: Sparks, NV AGE/DOB: 3 years, 05/2019 (estimate) Hi I'm Cleo! A very sweet unicorn! I am about 3 years old, about 90 pounds and I'm current on vaccines and spayed. I am a typical Velcro Dane so be prepared for me to follow you around. Nobody knows my full background - but we think that I've never really lived indoors and haven't had a lot of human attention. Because of that, I get anxious when left alone. My foster mom has been working with me through this. I'm perfectly content napping in separate rooms and allowing you to go to the bathroom with the door closed now! More fun facts about amazing me! My new favorite thing is going on rides with my foster family! I dance when I am excited! I LOVE kids! Matter of fact, whenever I am at the sitters, I choose to stay in the room with the small children she babysits, versus my fur besties. I love belly rubs and ear scratches. I walk VERY WELL on the leash now, but given my past, I do like to stop on occasion to smell the roses - or unfamiliar bushes. My foster mom just gives the 'come' whistle and I'm right back at her heels. I have zero reactivity to dogs, cats or other animals while out on walks; the only exception is when I see a dog that looks like my friends at the sitters. I then get excited and do my 'Dane prance' because I want to go say hi and play. I know some basic commands, like lay down, sit, and come. I am also very well behaved off-leash and have a very good recall. This is because I just want to be near my people! I am very smart and would love someone who continues working on training with me. I want to learn and please. I have been known to scale 4' chain link fences, presumably because I've been left outside for a while by myself and it's too tempting not to! But I love being outside, especially with my family and don't even think about leaving my yard now that it has a standard 6' wood fence. I am great with all people - big and small. No slow introductions need - people are my jam and I have never met a stranger! I'm very gentle/careful around kids and follow closely behind them going downstairs as to not knock them over. I'm not very interested in the felines, but don't have an aggressive bone in my body. I tolerate baths, ear cleanings and toenail trimmings very well! Spa day baby! I would love a home with a family that is always around, as I do have some separation anxiety (remember - I told you I've probably never had humans of my own to love on me!). I love attention and can get a bit anxious without a human with me. I really am a gentle soul!
