Name: Jazmyn Age: 7 years (born 9/24/2014) Breed: Labradoodle, 61# medium/large Sex: Female, spayed Location: Gloucester County, Virginia VET INFORMATION: Jazmyn is 7 years old, microchipped, and spayed. She is up to date with vaccinations and is on flea and tick preventative. In January 2022, she went into Addisonian crisis, while at the same time was diagnosed with glaucoma. Her Addison's disease is under control with a Zycortal injection monthly and daily prednisone. Her left eye stopped responding to the glaucoma drops and was removed in March. Her right eye is almost totally blind. She has been to see a veterinary ophthalmologist. For more information on Addison's disease in dogs, one source is: https://www.petmd.com/dog/conditions/endocrine/c_dg_hypoadrenocorticism OWNER INFORMATION: Jazmyn is an indoor dog with the run of the house. She is housebroken and leash trained. She knows cues for sit, floor, and stay! Jazmyn is a loving, outgoing girl who is good with people of all ages, male and female dogs, and cats. She has never shown aggression to people or other animals and has no bite history. Her owner notes that when she is in an unfamiliar area, Jazmyn is timid to move forward without her owner's lead. Her owner would like you to know: 'I want her to be with someone who is home all day to love on her. She is a beautiful sweet dog.' Does anyone have room for sweet Jazmyn? **Owner Surrender Disclaimer: These are blind and visually impaired dogs who are living in homes, but their owners can no longer keep them.
