About Gia

I acquired Gia almost 2 years ago from a rescue. She is great with people and kids however, she does not do well with other pets. I had also rescued a puppy and she was very motherly to the puppy. However Kona is now 14 months old and they have started to challenge each other with neither willing to back down and submit. This has made it impossible to have them around each other even in cages as the mere sight of one another and they get worked up. I owned 2 larger bulldogs prior which both passed from age and I have fostered countless dogs and have never experienced this. It makes my heart heavy to have to choose but keeping them both would mean having dogs caged constantly which I am completely against. Gia came to me infested with heart worms and I have had her on medication since. She is a sweet dog and deserves a home where she is the only pet and can be given the love she deserves. She is a 6 yr old olde English bulldog who can make a great companion for the right owner.
