** ON ADOPTION TRIAL ** Please meet COOPER! Sadly, Cooper's owner died and the relatives abandoned Cooper leaving him tied outside. Fortunately the neighbor noticed and managed to contact the family and got permission to take him. We are sure she saved his life. We can't be certain that he is good with kids but the neighbor did have him around her granddaughter and he did very well. Cooper likes other dogs! He is about 6 years old, current on vaccines and heartworm negative. Cooper weighs about 80 pounds. Described as very easy-going. Neuter appointment pending. Each dog is spayed, neutered, (unless medically on hold) up to date on shots, dewormed, and microchipped. At this time, due to the size of our rescue, adoptions are limited to NORTH CAROLINA, SOUTH CAROLINA, VIRGINIA and +/-6 hours from Raleigh, NC. ADOPTION FEE: Our total adoption fee is $300, including a non-refundable $25 application fee.
