About Oreo

Oreo is very hyper and anxious dog that will be on medication for the rest of his life to help calm him down. He's very loving and loyal and loves playing outside or with other dogs. He needs a person that is stronger than him because he is very hard-headed and very strong and hyper. He likes to jump and play bite when he does get excited but I have worked with him for 2 years now on these issues. I don't let him play bite because then he gets harder and harder with his bites because he doesn't know his strength. I say he's good with kids and adults but he would do best in a home with a single male who can handle him and work with him on a daily basis. I can no longer handle him myself but he would do great somewhere on a farm where he can run and play and get all his energy out. He is great with my five-year-old son and even lets him lay on him and we'll let you take bones or food away from him. The only time he's not good with children is when they are running and playing and screaming because he thinks they're hurting each other or he wants to join in the action and because of his size he could easily hurt a young child by jumping on them. He is also very protective over my five year old son. He also doesn't like anything with wheels and will try to chase after it.
