About Lux

Location: Westlaco, Texas AGE/DOB: 2 years, 05/2020 (estimate) Meet Lux! This girl is a relatively low energy gal, but she has her moments! She's a fairly dominant girl, but only when meeting new dogs. Slow intros to new dogs are the way to go with Lux. She can act like a big bad bully when introduced to a new dog - but once she determines that they pose no threat to her, she is totally indifferent to that dog. Lux should be in a home without cats. She has met and done just fine with kids - she was surprisingly gentle and loving - but given her size she should be in a home with older kids. She LOVES to be sprayed with the power washer. Yeah - her foster momma freaked out too. She stays far enough away that it's not hurting her & she absolutely LOVES it. Toys? She loves every toy she sees! She has to grab a toy both coming and going from her crate, every time she goes in or out - EVERY TIME. :) Her favorite place to hangout is in her crate - it's her safe place. And she's good on leash. Her foster momma has not noticed any resource guarding. Lux is fed in her kennel, but she will go around and snatch up the other dogs' bowls when she's loose. She doesn't growl or show any kind of menace with them. This girl craves affection. She loves to be petted and loved on.
