About Sylvia

This adorable girl could not be any cuter or more fun. She might be around six years old, but this girl does not let anything slow her down. She has so much playful, happy energy and she's ready to find her forever family she can give all her love to...and trust us, she has loads of love to give! Sylvia was originally found in a hotel room, where she had been abandoned for two days without food or water. She was then taken to the humane society. They were going to euthanize here because of a small mammary mass, and that was when we stepped in. Sylvia received a minor surgery to remove the small growth on her mammary chain. After healing from that, we actually discovered that she also had a torn CCL. Once she was cleared from her first surgery, she received a TPLO orthopedic repair surgery to correct her torn ligament. Since that operation just a few weeks ago, Sylvia has been feeling so much better and is already back up and at it wanting to play, despite still needing to be on some kennel rest with limited activity. She is expected (and already in the process of) making a full recovery. After welcoming Sylvia into the rescue, we could not fathom how anyone could leave her behind. Sylvia is the absolute sweetest thing. She has the softest fur, the most fun personality and she just wants to love, be loved, and of course PLAY. This girl adores her toys so much it might be the cutest thing we've seen in a long time. Sylvia does need to be the one and only pet in the home (like most of our mamas), but she absolutely adores every single person she meets.
