Pepper girl jumped into our backyard around Thanksgiving. She was pretty beat up and had been on her own for awhile. It was obvious by her demeanor that she has been abused. She was starving when we found her, and she has some food insecurity issues. She is not aggressive with food, but we cannot leave food out because she will take it and most often hide it around the house. She is very docile and submissive. She gets along great with our dog, and she basically ignores our cats. Our cats have even gotten hostile with her and she does not retaliate, she just cowers. She is very content to just cuddle and lay in the house all day, but we do notice her negative behaviors increase if she doesn't get exercise. She is a working breed, so she needs to stay active. She is super intelligent and loving, but we can't keep her because we already have too many. We have gotten her back to baseline health. She is updated on all her vaccines and ready to find her forever home.
