About Apollo

At your service! Apollo is a Tabby. is just too proud to be homeless. We named him after Rocky's opponent in the movie because he has those chunky cheeks from tom cats wanting to go a couple of rounds with him. But we like to call him a lover not a fighter because he is beyond sweet and will run to us every time he sees us just like a puppy dog. He is in need of a forever home where he can stay inside full-time. He loves to play with toy mice and fish and is happiest when he can hang out in a cardboard box. We estimate him to be about 2 years old. He was diagnosed with FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus). This is different than Feline Leukemia, which impacts mortality. FIV is only contagious through a deep bite. Apollo lives with another foster cat of ours, Tigger, who has not contracted FIV. Cats with FIV can live full lives with little to no health issues. Please don't let this deter you from bringing this sweet boy into your home. He and Tigger are best buds, so adopting them together is an option.
