We are looking for a foster or adopter for lovely Cleo. She was attacked by a larger animal, and as a result lost both eyes and is afraid of other dogs-she is understandably defensive, but with time she could learn to live with another dog once trust was re-established. We have had her with some of the other dogs in the rescue, and with support she can be with them. She will just need time. Bella will have the eyes removed for quality of life issues-dogs do just great being blind! Cleo LOVES people, and is now walking with us everyday off-leash (you just need to talk to her so she knows to stay with you). She loves to cuddle and will be your lap/bed buddy if you let her, but she is crate trained also. She is just a sweetie, just not trusting of other dogs at this point. If you foster Cleo, the rescue pays for everything, you just give her a safe and loving place to recover from her eye surgery until a permanent home is found. If you adopt Cleo, you have a loving and loyal friend for many years-she's barely 1 year old! Fostering helps us to save more lives, so please consider it. Contact the rescue at 406-270-3903 to set up a meet and greet with this lovely girl!
