About Oakley

Hi I'm Oakley! I was found emaciated wandering around a farm in Florida when some good-hearted people put me up while they searched for someone to help me. My tail looks a little funny...can't remember how it got that way. I'm not a perfect specimen, but isn't everyone flawed in some way? I was circulated all over social media and finally found help through SNIP Collier and Guardians of Florida Animal Rescue. They teamed up to find me a foster home and provide much needed medical attention while I look for a forever home! I'm around 2 years old and 65 lbs. My rescue thinks I could be a Catahoula Leopard Dog/Weimeraner mix, but that is their best guess. I'm a very sweet, friendly dog with every person I meet and I have shown a calm disposition with the dogs I've met so far, including a crazy puppy that was obsessed with me! I'm crate-trainined, housebroken and already know some basic commands. I love car rides and even stand still for my bath...I'm really a low maintenance dog. I have already received my vet check, HW test (negative thankfully), vaccines and neuter so I'm ready for my new family! I'm currently being fostered in Ft Myers.
