WHO CAN HELP? RICA - ID #A5476330 Baldwin Park Shelter, Baldwin Park, So Cal Please help us find a savvy adopter, foster and or rescue asap for adorable little corgi chow mix Rica. She was brought to the Baldwin Park kill shelter along with a chow mix friend who has been named Sergio and already adopted. Both dogs were supposedly found as strays together, and appear to be related. Both dogs are estimated to be 4 years old. Unfortunately, Rica was only made adoptable more recently, but was just spayed and is now ready to go home. We have her medical and behavior notes but shelter has said she should be an only dog as she was defensive when tested with other dogs, although is recovering from an upper respiratory infection which may have added to her not caring for other dogs. We believe she lived with Sergio who is good with other dogs and new adopter tells us in potty trained, so we hope for the same for Rica. She is available first come, first serve. We also have videos of her we can share. We are now looking for an adopter, or foster for Rica we can pair with a rescue to save her. Rica weighs only 35 lbs and needs someone who is savvy and patient to allow her to continue to come out of her shell.
