About Girl cat

I desperately need help with two cats that live around my house. I have lived at my house for 5 years and I have been working to clean up the feral cat population. I managed to get 2 of the mama cats tnr'd and that helped a lot (no new litters this year.) I have reached out to so many rescues and no one has been able to help. They are around 1 year old and aren't spayed/neutered yet but I am trying get that done this coming week. They are both pretty friendly. They'll let me pet them when they are around. When we had this snow storm earlier this year the girl cat let me put her in my bathroom and she used the litter box I put in there for her so I'm pretty sure she will do well in a home. As a last resort, I called Rutherford County Paws. Because I am in the process of moving they want to charge me with abandonment. And that just doesn't make any sense to me because I'm not their owner. I'm just a nice person who gave them scraps anytime they came around which was not every single day. I am sick with the stress of it.
