About Hana

Adoption Fee: $150
Domestic Cat
Age: Young Kitten
Sex: Female

Not everyone is perfect including this little Calico kitten. Within a few weeks of her birth, we noticed Hana was a little wobbly. She can walk, just not as steadily as her littermates. This is often consistent with a disease called cerebellar hypoplasia; a congenital birth defect where the cerebellum (part of the brain controlling balance) is smaller than normal. The upside is since cats have NINE LIVES, they learn to adapt to their disability over time and live quality lives! Kittens with cerebellar hypoplasia are not infectious to other kittens or cats. They are not in any pain, but they must be kept indoors as they are prone to losing their balance and could easily be injured or attacked if they go outdoors. Hana doesn't let her shortcomings get her down. She loves to play, wrestle with other kittens, cuddle in your lap and explore the world in front of her. She will make biscuits forever and run that motor of a purr. So please consider opening your home and heart to this precious girl. The world needs more compassionate pet owners.
