About Rico

Hi, my name is Rico. I am a 2 year old American Pit Bull Terrier. I am neutered and have my shots. I am a tall and lanky boy who comes up a little past the knee. I am very very strong and full of energy. I almost never slow down. I am loyal to the end and incredibly loving. Cuddles are my favorite. I don't do very well with kids or other dogs. I'm not fond of cats or any other small animal. The best fit for me would be someone who has lots of time and can match my energy. Preferably a single person or a couple without small children. I love to go on hikes and play tug of war. I love to fetch as well, but good luck getting the ball back from me. I am house trained, but I need to go outside frequently. I am crate trained as well :) I do tend to pull on my leash when I'm on a walk. I am highly protective and vigilant always. I would do a great job guarding the house. Sometimes I get a little freaked out when people who I don't know approach me quickly, especially at night.
