About Karmen

Say hello to Karmen. Karmen is a high energy girl who is not doing well in the shelter environment. Karmen is anxious, paces and really needs an active home environment where she can get regular playtime and exercise. Karmen does well on a leash, and overall is a good girl. Her cat status is unknown, but we suspect she would not be good around cats due to her breed instincts. Karmen weighs less than 40 lbs. Karmen would be fine around older children, but probably not with younger, due to her hyper behavior. Karmen is dog selective, reacting to only certain dogs, and ONLY from within her kennel. Outside the kennel, she is aloof and doesn't pay them any mind. Karmen came from a home with multiple dogs, so we know her history with other dogs was fine. But as with a lot of dogs, she's just been here much too long and it's starting to wear on her. With that being said, meet n greets will be mandatory if there are other dogs in the home to ensure her safety.
