About Duke Silver

Duke Silver came in as a found dog unclaimed and out of time at the shelter. He is approximately 1 year old. He would do well as an only dog. Duke will also do best in a home without small animals. Duke Silver was heartworm tested negative, started on preventative and dewormed. He is neutered, microchipped and fully vaccinated. Duke does well in a crate and seems to have been crated as a puppy. Duke loves attention and wants to please. He likes to work and focus on his handler. He is working on basic obedience. Duke would do well in a home where his owner is with him a lot. A retired person or a quiet home in the country would be ideal. Duke is very friendly and good with people but can be reactive with other animals. He is stressed in a shelter environment.
