We rescued King only minutes from being euthanized at a Houston shelter. His previous owner surrendered him there 4 months prior because they were moving and couldn't take him along. They also stated that he is fully house-trained, loves other dogs, loves men and women but runs away from children. He seems just uncertain about small kids. King is currently being fostered in Houston and will be arriving in Baltimore on 6/10 when he can go to his new home. King's foster reports that he is truly a fun and loving dog. He loves to play fetching toys and with other dogs, but when it is time to settle down he will. She has been testing him allowing him access to the room without locked inside his crate. He seems to do well with it. He will play with his toys and will carry them inside his open crate and just nap with them. King takes treats so gently from his humans. King is fully house-trained, crate-trained. He is neutered and micro-chipped. He is weighs 58 lbs and is 1 year and 10 months old. He is a yellow Labrador Retriever and American Pit Bull Terrier mix.
