About Chance

Chance was a companion of a Military family who was being relocated and unable to take him with them. I offered to keep him until I could find him a home so he wouldn't have to go to a shelter. Chance is about 2yo. UTD on shots but will be due for rabies soon. Chance is used to being off-leash and was known as the 'neighborhood dog'. Everybody Chance meets is a friend. He obeys commands like, sit, stay, lay, crate, down,paw. He is crate trained and sleeps through the night until 8am. I did buy a pronged collar to teach him leash etiquette, he will need continued work on that but is doing great!! He does still have puppy energy at times and would do best with a fenced yard to get out his zoomies or will need frequent walks. An experienced or patient handler may be best to help Chance remember his manners and continue his training. He doesn't realize his size or strength at times and thinks he's a lap dog. He has lived with kids and was friendly with a neighbors cat. He's been fine with my 2 dogs but not our pigs or chickens. He likes to cuddle and lick your face clean. His previous owner took him many places including on his boat for fishing trips and hiking. Chance is an excellent car riding companion and really is your dream dog. He is so sweet an affectionate you'll instantly fall in love.
