About Val

Hello world! My name is Val, I am around 2-3 years old and I'm the most beautifully goofy husky you will probably meet. My foster mom says that I'm stunning, sweet and smart , but what makes me truly unique is how goofy I am. If I must admit, I'm a little clumsy too (sigh). I blame it on these long legs of mine that I seem not to have quite figured out how to use gracefully! I'm still growing into my bodacious body. When I'm not making my foster family laugh, I'm spending every single bit of my time with them snuggling and following them around to see what they get up to. I love humans of all sizes and find them soo fascinating! I have yet to meet a human that I didn't like and will not pass up an opportunity to go say hi to the neighbors or greet whoever rings our doorbell. My foster family has a toddler and 7-year old and I am the best dog with them. The toddler especially is quite a handful and gets into all kinds of trouble, but I try to keep an eye on her- hard work! She also loves to squeeze me and scrunch my face up, and I just give her lots of wet puppy kisses in return. That brings me to another skill that I'm very good at - I am a pretty good kisser. All you have to do is whistle or make kissing noises at me from across the room and my attention and tongue is all yours! Foster mom loves my kisses and my snuggles and I take every chance I get to get me some rubs back in return. A few more not so interesting facts about me - I'm potty trained and crate trained, but I'm not a big fan of it as I feel sad without my humans. When my foster first put me in the crate at bedtime, I howled like a good husky does to let her know I would much rather sleep with the family. And, because, I'm very well behaved, I can be trusted to roam the house and pick where to sleep. I am not destructive and everyone sleeps so much better that way ! (Haha). I have good manners and know sit and paw which I learned super quick (treats were used). I am also good with other dogs and currently share a home with 2 others. I would love my forever home to be with someone who is going to spend a lot of time with me, and take me on walks so I can do my social thing. A brother or sister would also be nice so I can play and have company when left alone. So future family, prepare to be entertained and loved my me! You have no idea what you have missing out on.
