About Trixie

NOTE: If you are seeing this posting, she's still available :) Meet Trixie! We were told she was born on 1/11/22 & her mom looked to be a boston terrier mix. Trix is tipping the scales at 25lbs and is lean because she's always on the go given her age. Trixie is a very sweet girl, who just needs some basic training. Her fosterhome has a fenced yard and since she has no leash training, that works best at the moment. She needs routine & some manners to be the perfect family pet. Trixie is up to date on all of her vaccines, is spayed and was tested for HW and tick borne diseases - all were neg. She has the shiniest sleek black coat we've ever seen on a pup before! She's very treat motivated and when it comes to taking commands, she's all ears LOL Her back left foot has a few toes missing, but it doesn't effect her ability to walk, run or play. Initially we were told that mom was at fault for that but upon examination by our vet, it seems as though she was simply born that way making her perfectly imperfect :) Recent small breed experience is a must since they're just not for everyone & definitely not for the 1st time dog owner. This girl would NOT do well in a city environment, so we're seeking a more rural home since that's all she knows.
