About Rosie

My name is Rosie. I am needing a new home because my Mom has breast cancer, and moved around with a walker. It was to hard for her to bend down to care for my needs. She wanted me to be re-homed so she would know that I am safe and not put in a shelter. She was to the point of not being able to care for me properly. I am about 8 or 9 years old, orange tabby gal, a full figured gal that prefers to be the only kitty getting all the attention you have to offer. I would be ok with a male kitty. I am very engaging and love to be brushed or petted. Ginger kitties are huge on purrs and human bonding. I have large copper-colored eyes, white socks, chest and tummy, and orange tabby stripes on my back and tail, as well as an 'M' on my forehead. I enjoy warming my fur in the sun while watching the birds and outside activity. I have been told I have a heart of gold. I would be great for a senior or someone working from home, or your first kitty. I am low maintenance. I love to eat as you can see, I've put on a few pounds like people, I enjoy snacking and weigh around 12#. I enjoy playing with cat nip mice and cat springs. I will go off by myself for play time then check back in. I am not accustomed to a dog, but if the dog was very cat friendly, I would take it under consideration. I have been around kids over 6 years old. Snow Camp rescue offers a two-week trial adoption guarantee which means if I don't melt your heart, the rescue will take me back. The rescue just took me for a checkup. The doctor gave me a clean bill of health. If an application is submitted by May 28th Snow Camp is offering $25 off my $100 adoption fee as they need to make room for kittens.
