About Shimmy

FOSTER OR FOSTER TO ADOPT Shimmy is a 3.5 year old Standard Australian Shepherd, Spayed female. She came into rescue severely overweight. She has done a great job working on her weight loss goals and exercise and fitness plan. She still has some more weight to lose and is looking for a family committed to keeping her active on her daily walks, fitness plan and food management so she can become the active, healthy Aussie she was meant to be. She loves to play with her doggy playmates and loves sprinting around the yard. She loves going on car rides and likes her time with her fitness trainer working on muscle building and endurance. Shimmy is a happy girl who is good with people, other dogs and kitty cats. She is crate and house trained, walks nicely on leash and overall is just an easy going, happy Aussie. We do see her enjoying becoming more active and expect to see more of an active busy Aussie as she nears a more normal weight.
