About Mia

Hi! My name is Mia and I came in with my BFF, Max! I'm the Chihuahua and Max is the Maltese. We CAN be adopted together but we don't have to be. Sadly our owner passed away so we were taken to a shelter but they were very full. The staff felt it was best for us to go to the rescue where we are in a foster home and they can help us find the right forever home for us! Don't let my age fool you, I am quite spunky and confident, too. I love going on walks and I also love hanging out with my human on the couch. I adore my people and want to be loved by my forever fam. While I do get along with others, I would do best in a home without young children. I am also both potty-trained, pee-pad trained, and crate trained so if you needed to leave me alone for a while, you can do so with confidence! As an older dog, I will need to have regular medical checkups. I have a slight heart murmur but nothing to worry about. Oh and I just had my teeth cleaned and I came through that just fine!
