About LEO

***NEEDS FOSTER or FOREVER HOME*** Currently in Boise 2-year-old LEO is a gorgeous, healthy husky that found himself homeless, but was lucky to be given shelter by Emerald Street Kennels, Boise. He is now looking for a forever home. On his walks with volunteers, he does not seem reactive to dogs, but the shelter mentioned that he did not do well with farm animals. Emerald Street Kennels will soon test him in their off-leash doggy playgroups. LEO walks well on a harness. He acted frightened of a pond that he saw in the distance, so not sure that he is a fan of playing in the river. He wanted to run after the ducks that he saw. LEO has a gentle mouth when taking treats. When we stopped to sit on the grass, he stayed very close to the handler. Seems like he would be a good dog for an adult couple that doesn't include kids coming around.
