About Marshall Crested Gecko

Adoption Fee: $150.00
Reptile/Amphibian
Age: Young Adult

Hi! My name is Marshall because of my marshy colors and patterns!! Because I came from a home that didn't have my best interest in mind, I am looking for a home where I am part of the family! My foster mom says 'Marshall is a cautious but also curious and active gecko. He will almost always be in hiding in his enclosure, but when you take him out he likes to jump and explore. Marshall is a striking deep green color, and an active and engaging gecko. Marshall needs a child old enough to notice when he's about to jump off of you if in a home with kids.' I am a low-maintenance, kickback, easy-going, nocturnal lizard with sticky feet. I start to stir as you start to settle for the evening. Perfect timing for you to spray my enclosure and give me some yummy food for the night! I may or may not be awake when you get up in the morning, but the second spritz of water is all you need to do to make sure I am okay for the day! Oh, and my food is already prepared so if you don't like bugs in the house, I may be the perfect pet for you! I do like to climb so my house will need to be tall with lots of hiding places and leaves to retain the water you spray in for me to drink. While my temp should only be in the 70's, I do require a low-level UVB light during the day. While some may say it's okay for us to live with others, because of my history, I prefer to live on my own to keep me happy and healthy. With the right diet, habitat, substrate, temperature, and humidity I can live a long and healthy life that can be as long as 10-20 years! He's active and curious when out. He likes to jump. He's cautious in his enclosure and likes to hide under things.
