About Rusty

Rusty is an 11 year old Yorkshire Terrier. He is a tiny guy and weighs just 8 pounds. Rusty is a pretty social guy. Give him a lap to sit on and he's ready to be petted. He also loves to roll over and have his tummy rubbed. Because Rusty is so tiny his forever home should have no children under 12 and no large dogs. Rusty was surrendered into rescue by a breeder. He is done working for a living and ready to have a cushy retirement as a lap dog. Rusty is doing well at housetraining but does need to go outside more often than a normal adult and does need to be watched, especially at first. Rusty loves people and would like to have all the attention from his human. He would love to be the only dog in his home and never have to share a lap again. Rusty is tiny and not familiar with going up or down a flight of stairs so it would be best if his forever home didn't have a lot of stairs for him to negotiate.
