About Alex

FOSTER/FOSTER TO ADOPT NEEDED! Alex is a neutered male, black and white Labrador Retriever and Flat-Coated Retriever mix. Approximately 1 year old and weighs 72 lbs. Alex is a very playful and happy dog that loves interacting with people and would love to be in a home with kids. He is very happy and loves to go for walks. Per previous owner he would need to be in a home without small animals or cats. He is very gentle on leash walks, and he falls over just to get belly rubs. He loves to be right next to you getting stroking and attention does like to jump when getting a little excited. Alex knows all the standard commands: sit, stay, down, paw, and come. When presented with food, eats at a normal pace, and can give up the food bowl with no problems. He readily gives up toys but not a tennis ball. He enjoys playing with stuffed animals.
