About Brutus

Lab mix
Age: Young Adult
Sex: Male

Are you looking for a handsome sidekick or food clean up crew? Brutus is your man. He is a 2yr old Labrador mix who weighs about 55lbs. This playful boy loves everyone including kids, cats, and other dogs. Although he is learning that not everyone wants to play with him, especially cats and bunnies. Do you love doggy cuddles? Brutus could be your scarry movie friend or cuddle buddy while watching the next episode of your favorite show. Toys beware, be it kongs, solid rubber balls, bones... There is no toy too strong for him to tear up. His sweet side shows, when he cuddles and plays with his favorite toy, a huge stuff teddy bear. As most labs are, Brutus is food motivated which is making training go well. He will now sit, stay, and come for meals. Although occasionally when he gets excited and jumps to greet people, or sometimes he has trouble holding his bladder. Brutus is currently up to date with shots, microchipped, and neutered. In the past, he was treated and recovered from heartworms. He is being fostered in Mountville, PA and would love finding his forever home. Please fill out an application, to schedule a meet and greet for this handsome boy. We are PA Caring for K-9's, an all-breed dog rescue that is solely run by volunteers. Most of our dogs are rescued from high kill shelters in the South. If the dog is posted, they are still available! Once arriving, these dogs enter foster homes, as we do not have a shelter. We cannot adopt out dogs to a home with dogs that are not fixed or up to date on shots. If interested in adopting, please submit an application online at www.pack9rescue.org. Our adoption fee for altered dogs is $350 and goes directly to saving the lives of more dogs. Our adoption fee for unaltered puppies will be $400 which includes a refundable $50 deposit upon receipt of spay/neuter certificate. We are an all-volunteer organization, and we are always looking for more help.
