IMPORTANT NEWS ALERT! For those following my weight loss program, I am happy to announce that I have lost 16 lbs while in foster care. I began my journey out weighing 90lbs and now weigh 74 lbs. Now here is a little bit about me! I'm Patricia, a 4 year old lab mix! My foster family also calls me Patty and Patty poo. After being in a home for 914 days my previous owners could no longer fit my needs so they returned me. My foster family doesn't understand as I don't have many needs. The #1 need is to be the only pet in the house because I want all the attention and don't like to share my space with other pets. I have been waiting for a forever home for 5 months now and my foster parents have no clue why I am still here. My favorite toy is my green ball that I have had for 3 years now and my football too. On nice days I enjoy basking in the sun and people watching from the deck. Stuffed animals are my favorite and I love destroying the squeakers in them. I am house and crate trained, but I never need to be crated because I'm such a good girl. Little humans are my favorite and I am very gentle with them. George from MCS Dog Training and I are friends and he told me that anyone who adopts me gets a free training session too. Many people have failed me but my big smile and sloppy kisses haven't gone away, I aim to please! I have already been spayed and am up to date on all of my vaccines. Come see me in New Freedom and I will give you a lot of kisses! We are PA Caring for K-9's, an all-breed dog rescue that is solely run by volunteers. Most of our dogs are rescued from high kill shelters in the South. If the dog is posted, they are still available! Once arriving, these dogs enter foster homes, as we do not have a shelter. We cannot adopt out dogs to a home with dogs that are not fixed or up to date on shots. If interested in adopting, please submit an application online at www.pack9rescue.org. Our adoption fee for altered dogs is $350 and goes directly to saving the lives of more dogs. Our adoption fee for unaltered puppies will be $400 which includes a refundable $50 deposit upon receipt of spay/neuter certificate.
