About Diamond

Diamond (~DOB 4/1/21) is a beautiful, young girl who will thrive with an experienced adopter. She is naturally shy and reserved however once she is comfortable, she truly enjoys pets and treats. The good news is that she will do almost anything for squeeze up treats so she has a solid currency for working with you to build trust. You will love her silky, soft fur and her playful disposition once she gets comfortable and feels safe with you. She will chase wand toys to hunt and once she catches a feather from the wand, Diamond will typically let it go pretty quickly because she is more fond of the chase than the catch! She will likely not do well with a dog but having a cat buddy might not be a bad idea with a proper introduction. Kids will not mix well with Diamond's personality since she would do best in a quiet, calm environment. Diamond will probably never be a lap cat but that is just not her style. Instead, she will give you a sense of purpose and fill your life with progressive, little successes to enjoy as she grows into the house cat that she longs to be. To help her acclimate to various environments, Diamond has been through several foster homes. In each, she made good progress but now she is ready for a permanent home. They say it takes a village.
