About Dodger

Hello everyone. I am sadly needing to re-home my dog, Dodger. He is a neutered 3year old Great Pyrenees/German Shepherd mix. I am heart broken to say that I no longer have the financial resources or physical space Dodger needs to be the happy dog he should be. He has developed aggressive tendencies over the last year and he is not improving in my care. He use to be extremely social and friendly to both dogs and adults or children, now sadly he is very aggressive towards other dogs, some adults, and kids. I believe his aggression developed as a result of anxiety during the lock-down. He is such a loving and protective dog and he deserves to be in a home that can care for him and knows how to help re-train him to be the friendly giant he once was. He is a big snuggle bug to those he loves and often sleeps in bed with me as the little spoon. He loves eggs and fishy treats. He loves to play fetch but he also loves to be chased, so he usually tries to play keep away to get you to run after him before he'll bring the ball back. I use to take him to the dog park multiple times a week to help socialize him so I know that with the right training and a loving home with more physical space than I can provide him he can Thrive as a happy, loving, friendly dog again. Please help me find this sweet doggo a new home
