This pretty girl is social, fun, silly, happy, snuggly, and easy going. At 10 years young she looks forward to daily adventures. She loves to lay in the grass and soak up the sun and we'll often catch her rolling around on her back doing a happy dance. Don't let her age fool you; daily walks are a must for Betty she gets so excited and will even do a play bow and a cute bark when you ask her if she wants to go for a walk. She averages a daily walk about an hour long and we cover 2-3 miles. She enjoys neighborhood walks and walks on the trails where she can sniff and investigate. Betty loves to snuggle on the couch and will even curl up in your lap if you let her. A home that will allow her on the couch is a must. Betty is house trained and walks nice on leash unless she sees waterfowl and gets excited, did I mention we think she's a pointer mix? Betty enjoys car rides and will be happy to accompany you on adventures to run errands or to her favorite place the park. Betty is very chill and enjoys being with her people most. She will play with a tennis ball and will even gently bury it for safe keeping when she's done. Betty lost her right eye a few months ago to glaucoma but her other eye is healthy with no concerns. Betty gets excited for meals and will patiently wait on a dog bed outside the kitchen while dinner is being served and she's accustomed to eating in a crate. Betty is a happy go lucky girl who will thrive with someone that is looking for a buddy. If your looking for an active, sweet, calm dog Betty could be your girl. She formerly lived with small dogs and a cat. She got along with all but one small dog so were saying no small dogs for Betty to insure placement in a forever home. Betty currently lives with 2 dogs in her foster home and she gets a long with them no issues. They walk together every day and sun bathe together even sleep on the couch together but they don't play.
