Hello there! I'm Frankie! Ready for a cool story? Sit back, relax, and get to know me. It's a good story and will eventually have a Happy Beginning and that's where you come in! I'm on the younger side, the people taking care of me say 'not a kitten but under two years old'. I'm a tabby boy, and though I appear to be fully grown, I'm on the smaller side. Speaking of my appearance, I look quite like a Creamsicle -- my fur is a gorgeous orange color with hints and stripes of delicious cream throughout. When you meet me you'll want to have a little bite of me I'm so dreamy. Oooh maybe I'm more like a Dreamsicle! I have a soft short coat and I groom myself very well. Enjoy it actually. I'm often caught in an embarrassing self-groom position by my foster mom. You know the look right? Where I'm all twisted around licking places that need a spot of cleaning? Yes, that's me, Mr. Clean Creamsicle! Next up is my personality. I was feral just 4 weeks ago. Yep, you read that right! I was caught in a live trap on the grounds at Desert Haven. The good people there had heard me crying one night, set out the trap for me, and I was in it by morning. Boy howdy was I frightened! The way I was acting they were pretty sure I hadn't experienced the joy yet of kind human touch. But when they had me at the vet for my exam, shots, and neuter surgery the vet made a comment that I had calmed down some. With that comment, the vet gave them some extra hope that I could become tame. So I went into foster care with a patient person who, in fact, helped me start to LOVE human touch! Now, I will sit in her lap and be snuggled. I purr and push gently into those head and neck scratches. Oh gosh, I am so happy to be friendly now and I am welcoming to love. It feels good! Now that we have my appearance, grooming habits, and personality out of the way, I must mention a little, oh shall we say, flaw, I have? When I get a little nervous sometimes I let out a little toot. It's silent, but must admit a bit deadly. The odor wafts away quickly but it's there for a few seconds. Could we see this a cute quirk perhaps? A silly and funny little thing about me that will probably dissipate with time as I relax more and more and get startled less and less maybe? I'm just still new to humans and house sounds and happenings, so things like the vacuum turning on might cause me to emit a little poofy poof. I'm sure we can agree it's no biggie but they said I should describe a weakness in this bio and so I'll admit that I fluff a bit. Alright! There you have it folks! That's my story and I'm actually not sticking to it because I'm growing more and more tame every day! Where I am today (cautiously optimistic about humans) is certainly not where I will be tomorrow (a loving lap cat) and I think this is the most exciting time in my life! Do you want me to be part of your life so we can grow in tameness together? You can be my Happy Beginning. Come meet me and give this yummy Creamsicle a taste. Love, Frankie
