About Selena

German Shepherd / Lab
Age: Young Puppy
Sex: Female

Meet Selena! Selena is a 12 weeks-old, 22 pounds, American Staffordshire Terrier mix puppy. At the foster's house, she is playful and likes other dogs but is also figuring out treats, toys, and humans. Selena loves snuggling up for her rest time or being held. She soaks up all the attention. Selena is sleeping long stretches at night in her crate (about 10 pm-4 am) and will rest again in her crate until 6:30 or when the rest of the house wakes up. The foster family is working on potty training, and she will use a pad in her pen and also goes (quickly) when we take her outside. The foster has left her for 2 to 3 hours alone in her crate with her favorite 'friend' Lamby, and she has been calming down much quicker and will eventually settle down. Selena is definitely getting the hang of the crate. She has really shown so much improvement getting used to a new environment. At this point, we are looking for a family that has another dog, either her size or larger, for her to play with. Selena really thrives better with another dog sibling around. It gives her that extra confidence. If you feel you could be the family that Selena is looking for, please submit a completed adoption application found under the forms tab. This way, we can schedule a meet and greet. She can also be found on all of our social media pages IG: @Doggie_Bonez_Inc_ and Facebook: Doggie Bonez. If adoption isn't an option, please consider fostering one of our pups. We are a volunteer-run non-profit dog rescue and always welcome new short or long-term doggie foster families. We much appreciate the help and time of our fosters. You provide all the love, comfort, and safety of a home, and we supply you with everything else you may need, dog food, dog bed, toys, medical attention (if required), etc. If you are interested, please visit www.doggiebonez.com to see all of our available dogs who need a foster family while waiting for their fur-ever home and complete the foster application. We cannot do our work of saving dogs without the generous support of our donors and sponsors. Please, donate today!
