About Sweetie

This beautiful one-eyed coonhound turned up on someone's property in the summer and made herself at home, and they looked after her whilst she was treated for heartworms. At their home she got along wonderfully with their dogs and cats and showed herself to be a true stoic and champion during the six months of crate rest during the heartworm treatment. Sweetie has earned her name, and is now ready to find a family well suited to her new heartworm-free status (i.e. keen hikers and outdoor enthusiasts!). Sweetie is still somewhat of a closed book right now, but once away from the noise of the kennel environment she will absolutely thrive and blossom. She has a keen nose, loves other dogs, and is an all round good girl. Sweetie is about a year old and weighs 47lbs.
