About Polly

Polly looks like she's trying to be a 'pocket pittie.' She's got a full sized middle, but short little legs. That plus her big smile and huge floppy ears make her so pretty and cute! Polly wasn't always such a looker though. When she first came into the shelter she had lots of hair loss caused by Demodex mange. It was nothing contagious, and since she's been under treatment for it her hair is coming back nicely! Especially around those soulful eyes of hers. Polly is very friendly. She loves attention and being pet. And she's always so happy! She's not all that interested in playing or toys, but she loves to be pet. Our volunteers describe her as 'the sweetest thing ever! She is so friendly and wiggly! She loves everyone and likes to spend her time next to people. She gives kisses and takes treats gently from your hand.' Polly is 4 years old, and came into the shelter as a stray on 3/31/22. She weighs 53 lbs.
