Names: Diesel Age: 8 years Breed: Boxer mix, 61#, medium Sex: Male, neutered Location: Ocean County, New Jersey Vet Information: Diesel is neutered and up to date on his rabies vaccine. He is not microchipped. Diesel was born partially blind in his left eye and was attacked by another dog when he was four years old, resulting in his right eye being blinded. Recent blood work has indicated early renal. Owner report: Diesel has been with his owners since he was a tiny puppy. Because of their housing situation, they are looking to rehome Diesel. Diesel is an indoor dog who is crated. He is housebroken and leash trained. This delightful boy knows cues for sit, stay, quiet, kisses, and hugs! While Diesel can be nervous at times, he is good with people of all ages, female dogs, cats, and other small animals. Diesel has been attacked by other male dogs in the past, so he might do best without another male dog in the home. He can be possessive with bones towards other dogs, but Diesel has no bite history. Diesel adapts well to new situations and surroundings despite being blind because he does very well around furniture and steps with some verbal guidance. Diesel's owners would like you to know: 'Please help us - I have done everything I could possibly think of to keep him or find him a temporary home while we get through this unfortunate situation we are in.'
