Hoku is an approximately 2 years old at the most. She's spayed and up to date on vaccinations. She takes monthly Heartgard and Nexgard. Hoku tested heartworm positive. She just finished her Doxycycline. She will get her 1st Immiticide shot shortly. She's a low positive. If desired, you can finish her treatment with your veterinarian. Hoku does not have any heart ot lung problems. Hoku (Hawaiian for Star) was dumped in a coyote infested wooded area. Whoever did this was heartless because everyone knows that area is loaded with coyotes. Hoku was cowering when we went to get her. The coyotes were howling. Because she bravely survived such cruelty, we named her Star. A young lady from Hawaii changed her name to Hoku, and she answers to Hoku. The young lady is having to move in with her mother.
