About Granita

Granita is a domestic short hair calico female barn cat. She was abandoned at our house 4-5 yrs ago as a kitten from a feral female that had a litter at our house and left her litter behind in the fall. The kittens were very feral acting so couldn't place them so just allowed them to stay as barn cats. Slowly over the years she has become very sweet, loves to interact with us, but currently I am looking at placing her as one of our younger dogs has decided they will not tolerate cats on our property at all. It has not become safe for her when the dogs are out and I am having to keep her locked in the barn during the day. So I am hoping to find a home for her, she can continue to be a barn cat and would be quite happy with that . She may do well inside with adults or older kids, no dogs but has always gotten along well with other cats. She maybe shy until she trusts you then she is so very sweet and loves to be petted and follow you around.. I am just hoping to find someone that can give her a safe space , attention she loves as unfortunately that is not our home anymore. I am going to try and get better pictures soon
