About Odie

ASAP! Odie is looking for an immediate home! His foster can no longer keep him and he is going to go back to kennel life! Odie is potty and crate trained, and could live with both small dogs his size or cats with the right introductions! He is very affectionate and loves to cuddle and snuggle every chance he gets. Odie loves to play with toys and run in circles around the backyard. He has been curious and playful around the small dogs and cat in his foster home, with no aggression. He is still learning how to share toys, not quite there yet. He learns fast but is quite stubborn when he is/isn't interested in training. He gets a little nervous when people play fight around him, we believe he came from an environment previously where there was some real fighting so he will bark when he's uncomfortable. Odie calms down with a little reassurance. Odie is a wary pup that is still looking for his place in this world. He needs a home that understands fearful dogs and will give him the time he needs to decompress and build trust. When he's been around female dogs, he has not marked at all however has started to mark when around male dogs.
