About ASTRO

Energetic Cuddle-buddy Puppy! Astro was just a puppy when he was found running along a busy street. He is extremely loving, playful, and energetic. He is also a highly skilled escape artist. He loves to play tug-o-war with his flex toys as well as hide-and-go-seek with your shoes (but he doesn't chew them up). Astro is a quick learner and is working on his manners. He knows how to sit, come, and wait for a treat. Astro ABSOLUTELY LOVES soft blankets and cuddling with his human. He will readily climb in our lap or snuggle next to you in bed. That's where he sleeps: next to you in bed, but he will take the occasional nap in his doggie bed. He also loves car rides. He's a front-seat and center console kind of passenger, constantly scanning traffic with you. Astro is not fond of crates. He is more of a free spirit. He is house-trained and will alert you if he needs to go out. He enjoys eating and will eat next to the resident dogs in his foster home and share his food and water if they are hungry too. If you love hugs, Astro is the pup for you . If you tell him to lie down, he comes right in your lap, puts his head down, and rests in you arms. Astro did have a problem with some food aggression with a small dog in the home, so he will need monitoring and training around other dogs. Astro needs his own Furever Home where he will be loved, gets lots of play time, possibly with an energetic canine pal, and above all get to cuddle! Est. DOB: 2/28/21 48 lbs.
