About Comrade

Comrade 'commie' is a young adult 3.5 year old pure bred German Shepherd. Mom and dad on site. Dad is from Germany and his mom is American. Dad is huge and mom is normal size. Dad and Commie cannot get along anymore and are being kept separated so they will both be safe. So he needs a home asap. He will not come with papers as to avoid breeding. This litter was an accident 3.5 years ago and Commie just came back home 6 months ago because he acted weird around a small/younger child. He has his rabies shot and not sure about any others. Willing to help with cost of neuter/shots to get up to date. He is familiar with being kenneled but has had run of the home for last 6 months. Must be a good home and prove it! May call or text. Chesterton IN area. Wally 219-395-4880 My friend posted for me so this is a little more info: The person I gave Commie to as a puppy at the time worked local and had just bought a house. Soon after however he took a job driving a truck and started working long days and since Commie is a Shepard left to his own...he got into everything!! So he was stuck in a kennel Im sure way more then he was out, when I saw him again he was very timid and nervous around people and other animals. Then a girl and her child moved in, the child was left unsupervised with Commie for an unknown period but when mom woke up the child had been bit. Commie went to the pound where I went and bailed him out and he came to live at my house around 4 or so months ago. For the entire time he was good with my shepards (his mom and dad), no food aggression but didn't much care to share toys but didn't fight over them. As shepards tend to do though, son had to test dad which they did a few times but immediately afterwards they were good again. The other day it took a bit longer to stop the fight and I decided I couldn't keep them together for their own good. Commie is recovering at this time from getting nuetered and I anticipate him and dad will be ok after that. However, I did not want another dog and just got him out of jail until I could locate a good home for him. He is a high energy, loves to play and run and other than when him and dad box he has been good with multiple dogs that have came over. Commie is a great dog and needs a great home!!!
