About Velcro

Meet Velcro, a gorgeous 11-month-old dilute calico who came to Connecticut all the way from Mississippi. After her former owners broke up, they decided to drop all their animals off at the shelter so this pretty girl is now in search of a new family. Velcro is friendly with everyone she meets including other cats and kids (older preferred). She loves playing with any toy she can get her paws on and when she's not busy having fun, will snuggle up with you on the couch. She's such an affectionate sweetheart - she gives headbutts, sleeps right on top of you, and always has to have one of her paws on you as she loves being close. As her name implies, she'll be stuck to your side like Velcro! It does take Velcro some time to trust new people so she needs a patient family who understands decompression time. She's a real sweetie once she gets used to you and will make a wonderful companion! Velcro's adoption fee is $150 and she is fully vaccinated, microchipped, spayed, and SNAP tested.
